Salty Mud to Pure Bliss

Sirisha shared some Guru tidbits with me today from a knowledge sheet; thought of putting it here, you will definitely enjoy this one. Knowledge from the Master as simple as it could be!

Guruji was walking along the beach with some devotees and there was a huge desalination plant (changes salt water to fresh water) costing millions of dollars. Nearby was a coconut tree. Guruji looked and pointed out - that the tree is a natural desalination plant.

It takes the salt water from the earth and makes the fresh water inside the coconut. The knowledge is like the tree -- it takes us from salty mud to the pure bliss.

Well Guruji Himself is like the tree makes you pure, even if you just come in His proximity! Rest is all your experience :-)

How are you doing?

Mulla Nasaruddin had an accident. There were bandages all over. His legs, hands shoulder, face everywhere! So someone came to see him. And asked "How are you doing"? You know people ask this question out of habit! They are used to asking. Do you ask this question to a person who you are seeing in front of you eyes, not well! So this man asked Mulla, "Mulla how are you doing"?

Mulla also out of habit, you know we have this habit of saying, 'I am fine'… even though we are not doing fine!(Laughter!!!). So Mulla answered, "You know its only hurting when I am laughing!". This man who came to see Mulla was startled! He said what do you mean? You can even laugh now???

Mulla said, "If I don't laugh now I can never make it to laugh in my life!".
